secrets (and lies)
Our secrets partially define us, at least to ourselves.
Our secrets can scare or wickedly delight. They can be recalled with horror or pleasure. A smile or a scream can form on the lips at the memory of a secret. A secret shared can be bonding, but a secret confided can bring the wrath of judgement.
As I’m the person who suggested the monthly theme of secrets to New Cardigan’s GLAM Blog Club, I suppose I should contribute; and I do have secrets to share. However, if they are shared publicly, on a blog, then they are not secrets anymore.
With that in mind, and in the spirit of the inspirational PostSecret, I’ve made a series of postcard-like text and image (haiga-like) mashups that feature both secrets and red herrings. Which are real secrets and which are fake secrets is for you to decide.
